By G. Yadunadhan, President: The case of the complainant is that on 10.9.2008 complainant purchased a churidar cloth, worth Rs.1000/- from the opposite party’s shop. Thereafter complainant entrusted the material to a nearby tailor shop for stitching. From there, the tailor informed the complainant that the Churidar material has no sufficient cloth and it is not fit to make a dress and also informed the complainant that around 50 cm. cloth is short to make a churidar for a normal sized lady. Due to the insufficient measurement of the cloth, complainant was not able to stitch the same. Therefore complainant is seeking relief against the opposite party to return an amount of Rs.1000/- towards the cost of the material and a compensation of Rs.5000/-.
