At the time of arguments, the matter has amicably been settled.

                   Both the parties agreed that towards full and final settlement, the appellants will pay an amount of Rs.10.50 Lacs plus interest, which may have accrued on the deposited amount with this Commission, to the respondent/complainant. It is further agreed that let the amount of Rs.6.75 Lacs lying deposited with this Commission be released in favour of the respondent/complainant. The Balance amount of Rs.3.75 Lacs will be paid to the respondent/complainant, through demand draft(s), in three equated installments in the following manner:-

1. Rs.1.25 Lacs on or before 01.10.2017
2. Rs.1.25 Lacs on or before 01.11.2017 and
3. Rs.1.25 Lacs on or before 01.12.2017.

                   It is further agreed that if any installment is not given, as undertaken, the amount involved shall start getting interest @12% p.a. from the date of default till the said amount is not paid. In case of default, liberty shall also remain with the respondent/complainant to file an execution application and in that even, we expect that the District Forum will impose heavy cost on the appellants/Opposite Parties.

                   In view of above undertaking, this appeal stands disposed of.

                   Office is directed to prepare a draft of Rs.6.75 Lacs, alongwith interest, if any, accrued thereupon, in the name of the respondent/complainant, namely, ‘Sh. Pritam Singh’ and hand it over to him within next five working days.

                   It is made clear that qua directions issued by the District Forum to the Director, Health Services, U.T., Chandigarh, the appellants/Opposite Parties, if required, shall be at liberty to produce all documents to show that the appellants/Opposite Parties have valid license at the relevant time. 

                   Certified copies of the order be sent to the parties free of charge.

                   A certified copy of the order be also sent to the Director, Health Services, U.T., Chandigarh.
