ORDER

Complainant absent even today.

Present consumer complaint has been filed alleging deficiency in service from the part of the OP Jehanabad Nagar Parisad through unnecessarily realizing taxes for water, sanitary and holding tax etc. without providing any kind of service.

There is seperate provision for challenging illegal and exorbitant taxes by muncipality or municipal corporation etc under the Bihar and Odisha municipal council Act, 1922.

Even otherwise the tax realized by a Nagar Parisad Municipal and corporations are not the consideration for providing services to its residents and as such there is no relationship of consumer and service provider between the resident under Nagar Parisad and hence finding the present complaint is not maintainable before this commission.
