O R D E R

          M/s Ambika Enterprises-opposite party No.1 is in appeal against the order dated June 22nd, 2015 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Panchkula (for short, ‘District Forum’) whereby it directed to refund an amount of Rs.14,000/-, that is price of the mobile handset, alongwith interest at the rate of 9% per annum and Rs.10,000/- as harassment to Prerna Puri-complainant.

2.      During the course of arguments, Shradha Puri has stated that she has received an amount of Rs.14,000/- and Rs.10,000/- from the appellant and has returned the mobile handset to Sh. Arvind Chauhan, Counsel for the appellant.  

3.      Since the amount has been paid to the complainant, learned counsel for the appellant has urged that this appeal be disposed of being infructuous.

4.      It is ordered accordingly.

5.      The statutory amount of Rs.12,000/- deposited at the time of filing the appeal be refunded to the appellant against proper receipt and identification in accordance with rules, after the expiry of period of appeal/revision, if any.
