1. This revision petition has been filed under Section 21(b) of the Act 1986 in challenge to the Order dated 25.07.2015 of the State Commission in appeal no. 227 of 2014 arising out of the Order dated 04.03.2014 of the District Commission in complaint no. 49 of 2006. 2. On 09.03.2022 learned counsel for the petitioner finance company had requested for a period of one week to seek instructions. 3. Today learned counsel submits on instructions that the finance company wishes to withdraw its revision petition. 4. In the wake of the above submission the instant revision petition no. 3209 of 2015 is dismissed as withdrawn, without the option to file it again before this Commission. The amount, if any, deposited with the District Commission in compliance of this Commission’s Order dated 26.10.2017, along with interest, if any, accrued thereon, shall be adjusted and utilized by the District Commission towards satisfaction of the award made by the State Commission vide its Order dated 25.07.2015. The balance amount, if any, shall be made good by the finance company within four weeks from today, failing which the District Commission shall undertake execution, for ‘enforcement’ and for ‘penalty’, as per the law. The payments shall be made by way of ‘payee’s a/c only’ demand draft(s) made out in favour of the complainant. 5. The Registry is requested to send a copy each of this Order to the parties in the petition and to their learned counsel within three days. The stenographer is requested to upload this Order on the website of this Commission immediately. |
