At the time of arguments, Counsel for the appellant confined his argument only qua observation made by the Forum that the defective stereo with display screen be replaced to the entire satisfaction of the complainant. It is said that let the order impugned be read only to the extent of replacement of the defective stereo alongwith display screen with a new one.

                   At this stage, we are not issuing notice to respondent No.1/complainant, as it involve heavy cost. To say so, we rely upon the judgment of Division Bench of the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana  in C.W.P. No.9563 of 2002 (Batala Machine Tools Workshop Co-op Vs. Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Gurdaspur), rendered on June 27, 2002.

                   The objection taken is just technical. However, we modify the order passed by the Forum to the extent that let the defective stereo be replaced with a new stereo alongwith display screen. The unit be changed in the presence of the complainant and seals of new unit be opened only in his presence and then fix in the car. It is further requested that let some more time be granted to do the needful. On request, we grant 30 days more from today to comply with the order passed, failing which, the complainant can enforce penalty compensation imposed by the Forum.

                   In view of above, the appeal stands disposed of.

                   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties, free of charge.
