Sh. M.K. Kohli, learned counsel for the appellants is present. Sh. Pradeep Kumar Sadana-respondent is present in person, who has been identified by Sh. Surendra Rana, Advocate.

This appeal has been filed against the order dated 05.04.2010 passed by the District Forum, Haridwar in consumer complaint No. 239 of 2008; Sh. Pradeep Kumar Sadana vs. New Age Hotel & Resorts Ltd. and another.

Both the parties have entered into compromise.  A joint application for compromise has been filed before this Commission, wherein it is agreed that the appeal be decided in terms of compromise.  The respondent has accepted the amount of Rs. 60,000/- in full and final satisfaction and the draft of the same amount is given by the appellants to the respondent before us. Therefore, the order passed by the District Forum is modified and  appeal is decided in terms of compromise. The compromise application shall form part of the order.

The statutory amount of Rs. 20,000/- deposited by the appellants at the time of filing the appeal be released in appellants’ favour.
