ORDER

Judgment/Order:

​The complainant had on his excursion tour sent telegram message to his wife informing whereabouts of him for two times from Baroda but on his return it was learned that the message was not delivered to his wife because of which she suffered serious mental tension.

After hearing both the parties, the forum of the view that the message which is supposed to delivered within a reasonable time didnot reached the destination in time which amount to negligence of service on the part of opp. party. As such forum directed opp. party to pay Rs.250 to the complainant being the cost of telegram charges and compensation. Case disposed.
