Sohan Singh Vs. Punjab National Bank & Ors.

 

Present:       Shri Gurbaksh Singh, Advocate for the complainant.

                   Shri Lovekesh Machhal, Advocate for the OP No.1.

                   Dr. Mukesh Kumar,  ADA for the OP No.2.

                   Shri V.K. Garg, Advocate for the OP No.3.

 

File taken up today on an application for seeking permission to withdraw the present complaint. Joint statement of counsel for the complainant as well as counsel for the OP No.3 recorded, vide which they stated that the complainant and OP No.3 reached to compromise that the insurance company OP No.3 will pay an amount of Rs.45,000/- as full and final payment of the claim to the claimant for both farmers namely Sohan Singh and his mother Rani Devi within 45 days from the date of order. The cheque of Rs.45,000/- will be handed over by the OP No.3 to Sohan Singh complainant or his counsel Shri Gurbaksh Singh, Advocate as full and final payment of claim for both farmers. If the cheque of Rs.45,000/- is not handed over within 45 days from the date of order then the OP No.3 will pay this amount of Rs.45,000/- along with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of order. Both the parties shall be bound by their statement. Heard. In view of the joint statement, present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance.
