  1. We have heard Ms Rich Singh, Counsel for the Appellant and Shri R.S. Sharma, Counsel for the Respondent.
  2. In brief, the Appellant failed to appear in the Trial Forum on 18.02.2014.  It has resulted into striking of the Appellant/OP’s defence.  In the present appeal, the Appellant has submitted that on 18.02.2014, she had sought adjournment for filing of written version but the same was denied to her.  Be that it as may,  in the interest of justice, Appellant/OP is granted one opportunity to file written version subject to the payment of costs of Rs. 2,000/-.  Let the Appellant/OP appear in the Trial Forum on 10.11.14 and file his written version on that date.  Trial Forum to take the same on record and proceed with the matter in accordance with law.  Appeal is accordingly disposed of.
  3. FDR, if any, deposited by the appellant be released after completing due formalities.
  4. A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and also to the concerned District Forum and thereafter the file be consigned to Record Room.
