Order

1.         Vide orders dated 01.03.2016 I had directed the OP to pay to the complainant an amount of Rs. 24,81,668/- alongwith interest @ 18% p.a. from the date of deposit till the date of its realisation. Compensation of Rs. 7,00,000/- and litigation charges of Rs. 1,00,000/- were also awarded. My Ld. Brother Sh. S.C.JainMember differed with me on the count of rate of interest, compensation and litigation charges only. Matter was referred to the Third Judge Sh. O.P.Gupta Member (Judicial) who endorsed the opinion of my Ld. Brother Sh. S.C.Jain Member.
2.         In view of the majority opinion, OP in the abovesaid complaint is directed to pay to the complainant an amount of Rs. 24,81,668/- alongwith interest @ 10% p.a. from the date of deposit till the date of its realisation. OP shall also pay to the complainant litigation charges to the tune of Rs. 25,000/-. No order as to compensation.
