Notice of pairavi issued to the complainant at his New Delhi address has been received back with post remarks “no such person”.

We proceed to decide the matter on merits.

From a perusal of the complaint itself and from the plea taken by the OP in the reply to the complaint, it becomes crystal clear that transaction in question was of commercial in nature in respect of commercially saleable teakwood.

Therefore, in our considered opinion, the complainant is not a ‘Consumer’ as defined in the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. Hence, we dismiss the complaint.
