          The parties vide their separate statements (Annexures A and B) have stated that the matter between them has been settled. The respondent/complainant has received Rs. Rs.5,74,120/- (Rs.5,00,000+41257+32863) from the appellant/opposite party towards the maturity amount of FDRs and interest on delayed payment.

2.      In view the above, the appeal is disposed of accordingly.

3.      The statutory amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited at the time of filing the appeal be refunded to the appellant against proper receipt and identification in accordance with rules, after the expiry of period of appeal/revision, if any.
