Both parties represented through counsel. It is submitted that the dispute in this case has been amicably settled among the parties. Based on the terms of the settlement, it is submitted that the respondent has agreed that the appeal may be allowed and the final order in C.C. No. 827/2014 of the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Ernakulam may be set aside. In view of the terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties, this appeal is allowed and the order of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Ernakulam is set aside.
The amount of statutory deposit shall be refunded to the appellant, on proper acknowledgment.
