SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN: PRESIDENT

This is a complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration. After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:

This is a complaint filed by the complainants against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service and unfair trade practice on the part of the opposite party in connection with the purchase of furniture by the complainant from the opposite party.  The said notice was accepted by the opposite party on 29/08/2024, and the case now stands today for filling written version of the opposite party.  When the case came up for consideration today, the complainant filed a memo stating that the matter is settled and he is not willing to further proceed with this complaint.  The memo filed by the complainant is accepted and recorded.    In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is fit case to be dismissed as settled.

In the result the complaint is dismissed.  There will be no order as to cost.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.

Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the Open Court, this the 14th  day of October,  2024.
