Today, learned counsel Sh. Naved Siddiqui has appeared on behalf of the applicant before the Commission, whereas learned counsel Sh. R.S. Bajwa has appeared on behalf of the opposite party No. 2 through video conferencing. None has appeared on behalf of the opposite party No. 1 inspite of sufficient service.
We have heard learned counsel for the applicant & opposite party No. 2 and also perused the record.
This review application has been filed by the applicant, seeking review of order dated 22.10.2024 passed by this Commission in Miscellaneous Application No. 12 of 2024; Sh. Mohd. Akbar Vs. The Oriental Insurance Company Limited and another.
Having gone through the order dated 22.10.2024, we do not find any error apparent therein on the face of the record, as is envisaged under Section 50 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, under which the review application has been filed. Thus, the review application has no force and is liable to be dismissed.
Accordingly, the review application is dismissed. No order as to costs.
A copy of this Order be provided to all the parties free of cost as mandated by the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 / 2019. The Order be uploaded forthwith on the website of the Commission for the perusal of the parties.
File be consigned to the record room along with copy of this order.
