O R D E R

By filing this appeal, Lal Chand Mittal and another–complainants have challenged the order dated August 18^th, 2015 passed by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Ambala (for short ‘District Forum’), whereby, the complaint was dismissed in default.

2.      Learned counsel for the petitioners has urged that the wrong date was noted by the complainants, that is, September 18^th, 2015 whereas it was listed for August 18^th, 2015. 

3.      Be that as it may and without delving deeper, this Commission is of the opinion that ends of justice would be met if the impugned order is set aside and complaint is restored at its original number.  

4.       Accordingly, the appeal is accepted and the order dated August 18^th, 2015 is set-aside.  The complaint is restored at its original number.

5.      The parties are directed to appear before the District Forum on December 02^nd, 2015.

6.      Copy of this order be sent to the District Forum.
