AWARD

1.   Vide his separate statement recorded on 22.11.2023, Sh.Dixit Garg, Counsel for OPs has stated that the matter has been settled between the parties and as per settlement, the OPs shall replace the mobile handset in question with the same model/same price within a period of one week from 22.11.2023 in full and final settlement of the present matter. Vide his separate statement recorded on 22.11.2023, Sh.Chetan Gupta, Complainant has admitted the aforesaid statement of counsel for OPs and stated that he will not claim anything from the OPs in future and prayed that the complaint be disposed of in terms of aforesaid settlement in National Lok Adalat.

2.   Today, it is stated by the complainant that the counsel for OPs has given a telephonic message to him that mobile handset will be replaced shortly.

3.   In view of the statements made by the counsels for OPs as well as complainant, the complaint is disposed of being settled. The parties shall be bound by their statements made on 22.11.2023. The award is accordingly passed. The complainant shall be at liberty to get the same executed by filing execution, if compliance of the undertaking is not made by OPs.

4.   Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
