ORDER

SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN: PRESIDENT

This is a complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:

This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service and unfair trade practice on the part of the opposite party in connection with the purchase of spectacle from the opposite party by the complainant.  After admitting the complaint, notice was issued to the opposite party.  The said notice was served on 21/10/2024 to the opposite party.  The case was stands posted to 05/12/2024 for appearance of opposite party and also for filing written version of the opposite party.  Meanwhile the complainant filed a memo stating that the matter is settled and hence she is not willing to further proceed with this complaint.  In order to consider the memo filed by the complainant, this case was suo-moto advanced from 05/12/2024 to this date.  The memo filed by the complainant is accepted and recorded.  In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled.    

In the result the complaint is dismissed as settled.  There will be no order as to cost.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
