Case of the complainant is that they have purchased steam cooking unit on 9-6-2015 from the opposite party for an amount of Rs 5,98,835/-. Allegation of the complainant is that opposite party supplied products of substandard quality and the rice cooking vessel is made up of low quality wire gauge. Within 3 months of installation the cowl was damaged. Even after repeated requests there was no response from the opposite party. Believing the advertisement and brochures complainant opted to purchase the product of the opposite party. Hence the complainant filed complaint for getting compensation from the opposite party for the deficiency in service and unfair trade practice committed by them. 

Heard on admission. As per the order in IA 110/2018 filed for condoning the delay of 366 days we are of the view that complaint is not maintainable before the Forum. Consequently, the complaint is dismissed without going to the merits of the case.
