ORDER

No one is present on behalf of the petitioner to pursue this petition. Even then we have considered the grounds set out in the revision petition. In our view, having regard to the entirety of the facts and circumstances of the case that the complainant had already received a sum of Rs.2,10,000/- towards indemnification of the damage to the vehicle by issuing a discharge voucher in full and final satisfaction of his claim, the complaint filed for recovery of the balance amount was not maintainable in view of the decision of the Supreme Court in the case of nited India Insurance Co. Vs. Ajmer Singh Cotton & General Mills & Ors. [1992 (2) CPC 601 (S.C.)]. The revision petition is dismissed being devoid of merits.
