          Case advanced today as per I.A.1681/2024 allowed. Complainant present and represented.  Opposite party also represented.  A ‘joint settlement memo’ filed before the Commission stating that the complainant has agreed to settle the matter in full satisfaction of the complaint on the following terms.

  1. An amount of Rs.14,50,000/- (Rupees Fourteen lakhs and fifty thousand only) shall be credited to the bank account of the complainant within 30 days from the date of receipt of the order.  In default the opposite parties are liable to pay interest at 7% per annum from the date of order.
  2. The complainant shall furnish the bank account details to the opposite party along with a cancelled cheque to the opposite parties.

     The above terms and conditions will form a part of this order.  Based on the ‘joint settlement memo’ signed and filed before the Commission, the complaint is closed as ‘settled’.

 

Pronounced in the open Commission on this the 29th day of November 2024.
