Present:-    Attorney of the complainant.

        Heard. The meter in the name of the complainant is commercial connection because he has been running business of share market.  According to section 2 (1)(d) of the Act any person who avails the services for commercial purposes would not qualify to be a ‘consumer’.  There is no averment that the business was being run for earning livelihood, therefore, the complainant does not qualify to be a ‘consumer’ within the meaning of section 2 (1)(d) of Act.  Complaint is, therefore, dismissed.  Copy of the order be given to the parties.  File be consigned to record room.
