Per Shri S.R. Khanzode, Hon’ble Presiding Judicial Member:

          Appellant absent though intimation of today’s date was sent to the Appellant on the address mentioned in the appeal memo by Registered post  through the Commission on 6.6.2011.  However, the said registered cover returned with an endorsement “addressee not found at the said address.”  Respondent No. 1 by its official Mr. Gaikwad present.  Respondent No. 2 Lokmat Newspaper though served preferred to remain absent.  It is an old appeal of 1998.  Appellant failed to take effective steps to prosecute the appeal.  The appellant is not found on the address mentioned and given by him.  We find no reason to wait for him.

          In the circumstances, appeal stands dismissed for default.
