ORDER:
Today the case was fixed for consideration on statement.
On 29.03.2023 Shri Anuj Gupta, counsel for opposite party No.1 has made a statement that “I being the authorized representative of M/s. National Insurance Company, am ready to settle the present matter for amount of Rs.66,000/- towards mediclaim in full and final settlement, towards the claim of the complainant in the present complaint and nothing is due to the insurance company. A period of 45 days may be given to make the payment of said amount by the insurance company.
On the other hand, Shri Rajender Kumar Sharma, counsel for the complainant has ma de a statement that “I have heard the statement of the counsel for the insurance company and offer is acceptable to the complainant and we area ready to settle the present matter for amount of Rs.66,000/- towards mediclaim in full and final settlement towards the claim of the complainant in the present complaint. Hence, the matter may kindly be disposed of accordingly.
Keeping in view of the statement of the counsel for the complainant, the Commission is of the opinion that the complaint is disposed off with the direction to opposite party No.1 to pay Rs.66,000/- as full and final payment towards the claim of the complainant within 30 days from the date of this order. Copy of this order be sent to the parties concerned free of costs.
