ORDER

Complaint is allowed as under: Opposite party is directed to pay an amount of Rs.2,80,000/- towards the loss suffered by the complainant and damages of Rs.20,000/- to the complainant within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order. The opposite party is further directed to pay interest at the rate of 18% p.a. on Rs.2,80,000/- from 4-9-2001 to 4-4-2003 which comes to Rs.80,000/- apart from the above amount within a period of two months with cost of Rs.5,000/-. If opposite party fails to do so, the complainant would be entitled to receive future interest at the rate of 18% p.a. on the entire amount of Rs.3,80,000/- from such date till the date of payment. Send certified copies of this judgement and order to both parties under C.O.P.
