Judgement is delivered in open court as per separate sheets kept with the record.  The complaint is allowed on contest with cost of Rs. 5,000/-.  The OP shall pay Rs. 19,48,087/- to the complainant towards insurance claim along with interest @ 10% p.a. from the date of submission of the report of the first Surveyor (C.P.Mehata & Company) before the Insurance Company till payment of the entire amount.  The OP shall also pay compensation to the tune of Rs. 20,000/- to the complainant due to immense mental harassment and deficiency in service on tneir part.  The OP is directed to pay the above amounts to the complainant within 45 days from the date of passing of this judgement, in default the above-mentioned total amount shall carry interest @ further 10% as penal interest for the default period.
