Counsel for JD already deposited Rs.2,98,000/- principal amount which is lying deposited in this Forum in the form of FDR since 28.2.2013. The Hon'ble National Commission vide final order dated 19.02.2016 decided this case finally and ordered that amount of Rs.1,56,750/- along with interest @ 9% per annum from the date of filing of complaint i.e. 22.09.2007 till date be paid to the DH. It is, therefore, ordered that amount of Rs.1,56,750/- along with interest @ 9% per annum from 22.09.2007 till to date be released to the DH and the balance amount be returned to the JD against proper receipt and verification. Papers be consigned to the record room.
