Shikha Gupta Versus National Highway Authority of India & Ors

Present:- Sh.A.K.Gupta, Advocate Counsel for the Complainant.

Sh.Shishu Pal son of Sh.Mani Ram, Manager on behalf of OP No.1 i.e. NHAI, Behram Toll Plaza.

The matter has been compromised between the parties. Today Sh.Shishu Pal son of Sh.Mani Ram, Manager of OP No.1 appeared in Person and filed Authority Letter on behalf of OP No.1 i.e. NHAI, Behram Toll Plaza & also suffered a statement that whatsoever has been happened at toll plaza on 23.08.2020 with the Complainant was an unfortunate incident and was not intentional one. Even so the Opposite Party No.1 on behalf of Toll Plaza appolize for the inconvenience cause to the Complainant and in lieu of her harrassment hereby agreed to permanently exempt the Complainant's Car bearing No.PB-08-EC-1600 from all the Toll Plazas falling in Punjab & Haryana. From now onwards the aforesaid Car will not be charged Toll Tax by passing through all the Toll Plazas in Punjab & Haryana.

Similarly, statement of Sh.A.K.Gupta, Advocate Counel for the Complainant recorded that the Complainant is satisfied with the statement suffered by the OP No.1 through its Manager and same is acceptable to the Complainant, subject to the strick compliance of the same. As such, the Complainant be permitted to withdraw the present complaint in terms of aforesaid statement.

So, accordingly in view of the statement suffered by both the parties, the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn after having been compromised. File be consigned to the record room.
