ORDER

At the outset, the Complainant, Respondent No.1 herein, who is

present in person submits that he has not received the travel and allied expenses, as were directed to be paid to him vide order dated 28.03.2017.  Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that since the Law Officer of the Petitioner Company was unwell, necessary steps to remit the said amount could not be taken.

        Though the explanation furnished for the said default is absolutely unsatisfactory, yet having regard to the fact that the Petitioner has now offered to settle the dispute, subject matter of the present Revision Petition, with the Complainant, we refrain from commenting further on the issue.

        It is agreed between the contesting parties that except for the interest as awarded in the impugned order, on payment of the entire amount, as directed by the State Commission, by the Petitioner Company to the Complainant, along with the travel and allied expenses, as ordered vide order dated 28.03.2017, the entire claim of the Complainant in the Complaint, giving rise to the present Petition, shall stand satisfied and he will not be left with any claim against the Petitioner Company.  The amount due in terms of this settlement shall be remitted directly to the Complainant by means of Demand Draft drawn in his favour, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

        The Revision Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
