SRI.P.V.JAYARAJAN: PRESIDENT

This is a complaint filed under section 35 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the matter stood over to this date for consideration.After hearing the matter the commission passed an order as follows:

This is a complaint filed by the complainant against the opposite party alleging deficiency in service and unfair trade practice on the part of the opposite party in connection with the purchase of an Iron box.  According to the complainant while using that Iron box a dhothi worth Rs.1500/- was damaged as the Iron box was having too much heat which couldn’t be control with controlling system.  When the case came up for consideration today, it is seen that the complainant has filed a memo stating that the dispute between the complainant and the opposite party was amicably settled out of court and he is not willing to further proceed with this complaint.  The memo of settlement is accepted and recorded.  In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties to the proceedings, we find that this is a fit case to be dismissed as settled.

In the result the complaint is dismissed as settled.  There will be no order as to cost.

A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
