                   No one has appeared on behalf of the appellant though the appeal was called several times. He was opposite party before the District Forum and impugned order was passed in favour of respondent No.1/complainant as a Consumer. On account of the non-appearance of the appellant, the appeal is dismissed in default.

2.                The sum of Rs.10,500/- was deposited by the appellant at the time of filing of the appeal. It deposited another sum of Rs.10,500/- in compliance of the order dated 21.02.2012. Both these amounts, along with interest which has accrued thereon, if any, shall be remitted by the registry to  respondent No.1/complainant by way of a crossed cheque/demand draft after the expiry of 45 days of the sending of certified copy of the order to them.
