Called out. Counsel for the applicant Sri Shailendra Kumar Srivastava and Sri Manish Mishra are present.

Heard. This review petition is filed to review the judgment and order dated 30.11.2023 passed by this court in complaint no.175 of 2017. This complaint case is of 2017 and there was no provision of review in the Consumer Protection Act, 1986.

During the course of hearing, we came to know that it is not a review application but it is a simply an application for correction in the judgment.

The applicant drew our attention towards page no.24 in which at point ‘a’ it has been written “The complainant is entitled to get the physical possession of the fully developed plot from the opposite party-1 after paying the balance amount of Rs.15,29,627.00 without any interest within 30 days from the date of judgment of this complaint case …….”

The applicant’s counsel then drew our attention towards page no.25 of the judgment in which it has been written “The opposite party no.1 is directed to handover the complainant physical possession of fully developed plot after paying the balance amount of Rs.15,29,627.00 without any interest within 30 days ……….”

In this order at page 25 in line 3 word paying is  typed due to mistake and it should be “receiving”. So this prayer of correction is allowed and at page no.25 of the judgment in line 3 word “paying” be replaced by “receiving”.

Let the correction be made accordingly.

The application for correction is finally disposed.

The stenographer is requested to upload this order on the website of this Commission at the earliest.
