Delay of 69 days in filing the revision petition is condoned.

Petitioner booked a park with Municipal Corporation of Delhi for February 12, 2009 and deposited Rs.5,418/-. Petitioner could not use the park on the said date and demanded refund of the amount deposited after deducting reasonable charges. Respondent did not refund the amount, aggrieved against which petitioner filed a complaint before the District Forum, which was dismissed.

Not satisfied with the order passed by the District Forum, petitioner filed the appeal before the State Commission, which has been dismissed for non-prosecution in default of appearance.

Petitioner has filed the present revision petition seeking remand of the case after setting aside of the order with the direction to the State Commission to decide it afresh in accordance with law.

The dispute in the present case is limited to an amount of Rs.5,418/-. Cost of litigation would be much more than the amount involved. Since the cost of litigation would be much more than the amount involved, we are not inclined to interfere with the order passed by the State Commission.

Dismissed.
