This judgement is pronounced in the open court on seperate sheets of paper today.<br /> The judgement is allowed in part.<br /> The complainant is held entitled to the amount of Rs.1,86,264/- being the interest at 18% p.a. on the amount of Rs.2,58,700/- with effect from 1-1-1996 to 1-1-2000 and Rs.5,000/- towards the compensation for mental and physical agony that he has suffered due to the deficiency of service by the respondent and Rs.500/- towards costs of this proceedings from the respondent.<br /> The respondent shall pay the amount of Rs.1,86,264/- being the interest at 18% p.a. on the amount of Rs.2,58,700/- with effect from 1-1-1996 to 1-1-2000 and Rs.5,000/- towards the compensation for mental and physical agony that the complainant has suffered due to the deficiency of service by him and Rs.500/- towards the costs of this proceedings to the complainant within 2 months from the date of the receipt of the copy of this judgement and order apart from bearing his own costs of this proceedings.<br /> The other reliefs claimed by the complainant are hereby rejected.<br /> Send the certified copies of this judgement and order to bothsides parties under certificate of postings.
