ORDER

This judgement is pronounced in the open court on seperate sheets of paper today. The judgement is allowed in part. The complainant is held entitled to the amount of Rs.1,86,264/- being the interest at 18% p.a. on the amount of Rs.2,58,700/- with effect from 1-1-1996 to 1-1-2000 and Rs.5,000/- towards the compensation for mental and physical agony that he has suffered due to the deficiency of service by the respondent and Rs.500/- towards costs of this proceedings from the respondent. The respondent shall pay the amount of Rs.1,86,264/- being the interest at 18% p.a. on the amount of Rs.2,58,700/- with effect from 1-1-1996 to 1-1-2000 and Rs.5,000/- towards the compensation for mental and physical agony that the complainant has suffered due to the deficiency of service by him and Rs.500/- towards the costs of this proceedings to the complainant within 2 months from the date of the receipt of the copy of this judgement and order apart from bearing his own costs of this proceedings. The other reliefs claimed by the complainant are hereby rejected. Send the certified copies of this judgement and order to bothsides parties under certificate of postings.
