ORDER

            The applicant/OP has moved the present application for releasing the compensation money to the complainant. It has been stated therein the application that against the Consumer Complaint No.1073 of 2009, an Appeal No.40 of 2010 was filed and the Hon’ble State Commission stayed the order passed by District Forum on 9.2.2010 subject to deposit 50% of the total amount awarded by the District Forum in addition to the amount already deposited at the time of filing the appeal and accordingly the amount of Rs.13,600/- had been deposited with this Forum vide pay order No.864429, dated 22.2.2010.  It has been further stated that the Hon’ble State Commission has dismissed the appeal on 22.7.2011, therefore, it is prayed to release the sum of Rs.13,600/- plus any interest, to the complainant- Vijay Bansal.

            Accordingly, the office is directed to issue a cheque of Rs.13,600/- plus interest, if any, in favour of the complainant Vijay Bansal and the same be handed over to him against proper receipt and as per rules. The application stands disposed of accordingly.

            Copies of this order be sent to the parties free of charge. Be tagged with the main complaint.
