The prayer in the application is for direction on the Opposite Party/Insurance Company to pay the amount directly to the complainant. We take note of the fact that the complainant has already settled and paid off the claim of the bank, as would be apparent from the letter dated 24th June, 2011 placed on record along with the application. Mr. Sharma however, states that the letter is issued by the Commercial Branch of State Bank of India, A.B. Road, Indore but the party arrayed in the complaint was State Bank of India, Industrial Finance Branch, Apollo Tower, M.G. Road, Indore. In view of the above position, we direct the O.P. No. 1 to pay the awarded amount to the complainant on their producing similar letter from State Bank of India, Industrial Finance Branch, Apollo Tower, M.G. Road, Indore also. Application stands disposed of in these terms. |
