Put up in National Lok Adalat.
Both the counsel have appeared in National Lok Adalat and have stated that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties, which is accepted on the record.
We have seen the compromise (paper Nos. 47 to 49) which is accepted by both the parties after understanding and perusing the terms and conditions of the compromise and the same has been accepted by the Commission.
A perusal of the payment receipt (paper Nos. 50 & 51) has revealed that the payment agreed between the parties during the compromise has been paid by the appellant to the respondent vide cheque No. 570206 dated 24.07.2023 for a sum of Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand only) of Punjab National Bank, Kashipur, Udham Singh Nagar.
As the compromise has already been accepted, hence the appeal is accordingly decided in terms of the above compromise.
A compromise (paper Nos. 47 to 49) shall form part of the decree. No order as to costs of the appeal.
Statutory amount, if any, deposited by the appellant be returned to the appellant as per rules.
File be consigned to the record room alongwith copy of this order.
A copy of this order alongwith compromise be sent to the District Commission concerned for perusal and necessary information.
