Today, none has appeared on behalf of the appellant inspite of repeated calls.

A perusal of the record has shown that the steps for service of notice upon respondent by registered post, have not been taken by the appellant, inspite of specific direction of this Commission.

A perusal of the record has further shown that several opportunities have been given to the appellant for taking steps for service of notice upon respondent, but the appellant has neither appeared, nor taken steps for service of notice upon respondent, as per the direction of this Commission.

It appears that the appellant is not interested to continue the appeal and is reluctant to proceed further in the matter.

In such circumstances, the Commission has no other option except to dismiss the appeal.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed in the absence of appellant as well as for want of prosecution.  No order as to costs.

File be consigned to the record room along with copy of this order.

A copy of this order be sent to the concerned District Commission for perusal, information and necessary action.
