        The complainant enrolled with OP for getting basic knowledge in computers and deposited fee of Rs.4,450/- for a course of 3 months. It is alleged that OP sent trainer at his house 3-4 times, and thereafter stopped sending them. Therefore, this complaint of deficiency. OP did not respond despite notice of complaint. It was proceeded exparte.

        We have considered the exparte evidence and material on record, which clearly shows that OP acted imperfectly in stopping rendering service for which it charged advance fee. We hold OP guilty of deficiency and award a consolidated compensation of Rs.10,000/- inclusive of litigation charges and inclusive of fee paid with interest.

The order shall be complied within 30 days of the receipt of the copy of the order; otherwise action can be taken under Section 25 / 27 of the Consumer Protection Act.

File be consigned to record room.

Copy of the order be sent to the parties free of cost.
