This is a complaint filed by the complainant under Section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 praying to direct the opposite parties for replacement of new car to the complainant or directing the opposite parties to pay the cost of the car for a sum of Rs.6,88,000/- along with interest at 12% p.a. from 07.06.2012 till realisation;  directing the opposite parties 1 to 3 to pay compensation for a sum of Rs.10.00 lakhs to the complainant towards hardships and mental agony and to direct the opposite parties to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- towards costs of this complaint.    

          2. Notice to the opposite parties were duly served.  The opposite parties filed reply versions.  The opposite parties endorsed no oral evidence.  Hence, the matter was posted for evidence of complainant and for arguments.

          3. Today this complaint was called.  The complainant and his Counsel absent.  The opposite parties also absent.  Counsel for Opposite Parties present.  Complainant did not adduce evidence and not taken any steps to examine the Expert and not interested to pursue the case for further proceedings.  Hence, this complaint is hereby dismissed for default.  No costs.
