Final Order / Judgement

Dtd.06.06.2024                                              A/875/2015

O R D E R

         BY Mr.K.B.SANGANNANAVAR : Pri.Dist& Session Judge (R) - JUDICIAL MEMBER.

  1. This is an appeal filed U/s.15 of CPA 1986 by Complainant/Appellant aggrieved by the order dtd.17.08.2015 passed in CC/2722/2013 on the file of 3rd Addl., District Forum, Bengaluru urban. (Parties to the appeal henceforth are referred to their rank assigned to them by the District Commission).

  1. The Commission examined grounds of appeal, impugned order, appeal papers and LCR.

  1. The Complainant/Appellant herein raised consumer complaint to direct OP bank to pay compensation of Rs.50,000/- for harassing its customers which was contested by OP and the District Forum held an enquiry, found no case, proceeded to dismiss the complaint with no order as to cost on the ground that there is no deficiency in service rendered by OP and found the documents produced by OP bank clearly shows that charges were made according to banking norms in General Schedule of Features and Charges/GSFC and the bank has not violated any of the regulations of RBI and on the contrary, Complainant has failed to substantiate her allegations made in her complaint supported by documentary evidence which in our view does not call for any interference of this Commission for the grounds set out in the appeal memo. Hence, proceed to dismiss the appeal with no order as to cost.

  1. Return the LCR to the District Commission.

  1. Notify copy of this Order to the District Commission and parties.
