This consumer complaint coming up before us on 30.06.2022 for reporting settlement and for filing joint memo of compromise and this Commission made the following Order in open court:

Both present.  When the matter is taken up for consideration, the Counsel for the complainant has made an endorsement on the Consumer Complaint stating that he had received a sum of Rs.40,000/- from the opposite party by way of a Demand Draft as full and final settlement and as such he is withdrawing the complaint.

In view of the payment of amount by the opposite party in terms of settlement to the extent of Rs.40,000/- by way of Demand Draft and also in view of  the endorsement made by the Counsel for complainant, he is permitted to withdraw this Consumer Complaint.

Accordingly, this Consumer Complaint is dismissed as withdrawn.   No order as to costs.
