The Complainant had availed telephone internet facilities with OP which was shifted from Lodhi Colony to Dwarka, Sector-6. The Complainant lodged complaints vide complaint no.1757 dated 20.06.13, no.549 dated 27.06.13 and so many complaint lodged but internet was not rectified. Ultimately complaint was filed and notice was served and OP appeared and under took to resolve the issue on 12.11.14 for Rs.2,000/- but later on OP failed to comply the same.

It appears from complainant’s evidence that the complainant desperately approached Forum despite a number of complaints lodged with OP, nobody bother to rectify the internet despite consideration was already made to OP as per Para4 of evidence. Consequently OP has accepted his deficiency in forum on 12.11.14 to compensate the complainant with a sum of Rs.2,000/- but later OP disappear to contest the case which is clear case of deficiency on the part of OP who deliberately brought the complainant into litigation due to deficiency of MTNBL officials.

Keeping in view, OP is directed to rectify the internet within 30 days and also pay Rs.3,500/- as litigation and harassment charges to Complainant.

The order shall be complied within 30 days of the receipt of the copy of the order; otherwise action can be taken against OP under Section 25/27 of the Consumer Protection Act.

File be consigned to record room.

Copy of the order be sent to the parties free of cost.
