The short complaint of deficiency alleged is that complainant had a credit card no.4054510006045004 on which he had made payments of all outstanding of a loan on credit card. But he paid outstanding against credit number 5177008847888004, which card was never issued to him. He states that he deposited Rs.1,40,000/- in his account towards payment of loan, but bank recovered from his account of Rs.2,93,788. He sought reconciliation of account which bank did not respond. Therefore, this complaint was filed.

The OP in its reply & written submission has explained that complainant took a loan in June 2007, payable in 48 installments of Rs.3,150.61/- but due to default in payment the credit card was cancelled and loan was recalled. In order to reflect payments made subsequently a virtual credit card was created ending with 8004 and loan was rescheduled in 26 installments, which was accepted by complainant but he again defaulted and it was rescheduled to 30 installments but he again defaulted and a sum of Rs.91,117.77/- was outstanding.

We have considered the submissions, material and find that OP has fully explained the case and for demanding outstanding, no deficiency can be said to be committed by Citi Bank.

The complaint is dismissed.

Copy of the order be sent to the parties free of cost.
