Appeal filed by the insurance company was dismissed on 17.10.2011.  Aggrieved by the order passed by this Commission, insurance company filed SLP No.36328/2011, in which notice has been issued.  Supreme Court has passed the following order :

“Learned counsel for the caveator however submits that the money which was directed to be deposited by the petitioner has already been deposited.  The caveator is permitted to withdraw 50% of the deposited amount on furnishing bank guarantee.

The remaining 50% amount may be kept in a short term fixed deposit.”

        Applicant/respondent has moved this application seeking release of the amount.  Office is directed to release the amount in terms of the interim order passed by the Supreme Court.

        Misc. Application stands disposed of accordingly.
