This complaint has been filed by the complainant against the opposite parties under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 seeking compensation for a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- towards loss and injury suffered by the complainant due to carelessness, negligence and deficiency in service of the 2^nd opposite party

CMP No.98/2018 is allowed.  Hearing adjourned today.  This case is settled before Mediation Centre and a Demand Draft of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs only) drawn on Oriental Bank of Commerce No.057862 Dated:14.04.2018 in favour of the complainant and another Demand Draft of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees three lakhs only) drawn on HDFC Bank, Nungambakkam Branch No.993557 Dated:16.02.2018 in favour of the complainant totalling of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees six lakhs only) issued by the opposite party.

Hence this case is closed as settled.  The complainant is directed to receive the Demand Drafts on undertaking after identification.
