        The office report taken on the order of National commission, dated 27.4.12, in respect of cheques of awarded amount.  It is reported by office that cheques were not deposited in the name of Forum, but in the name of the complainant.

 

 It appears that complainant has placed wrong facts before the National Commission, about deposit of cheques in the name of Forum.  In view of this the order of National Commission is inexecutable. 

 

However, since validity of cheques of Rs.60,000/- and Rs. 29,880/- deposited in Forum on 31.3.10, has expired JD submitted fresh cheques on 23.5.13, in view of no payment actually in 2010, OP should pay interest on above sum at the rate of saving bank rate of 5% from 31.3.10 till 23.5.13.  OP is directed to make this payment in 30 days of the receipt of the copy of the order.
