ORDER | ||||
1. Heard. The parties have settled the matter for a total sum of Rs.2,88,000/-. Counsel for OPs has handed over to the counsel for complainant two post dated cheques i.e. one cheque No.112824 dated 25.04.2019 of the denomination of Rs.1,40,000/- and another cheque No.112825 dated 30.05.2019 of the denomination of Rs.1,33,000/- and counsel for complainant has received the same. Photocopy of cheques alongwith receipt placed on record. The remaining amount of Rs.15,000/- will be paid to the complainant on or before 30.05.2019. Statement of Sh.Raman Walia, Counsel for OPs and that of Sh.Manmohan, Counsel for Complainant have been recorded and placed on file, in view of which the present consumer complaint is disposed off being settled. Statement of counsels for the parties recorded today shall form a part of this order and shall be binding on both the parties. 2. It is made clear that in case the remaining amount of Rs.15,000/- is not paid to the complainant by OPs as agreed upon and in case the aforesaid cheques are bounced, this order shall be treated as executable decree and the complainant shall be at liberty to get the same executed by filing an execution application and for each of the bounced cheque, OPs shall pay Rs.5,000/- as penalty. 3. Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned. |

Statement of Sh.Raman Walia, Counsel for Opposite Parties(OPs).
The parties have settled the matter for a total sum of Rs.2,88,000/-. Out of the total amount of Rs.2,88,000/-, two post dated cheques i.e. one cheque No.112824 dated 25.04.2019 of the denomination of Rs.1,40,000/- and another cheque No.112825 dated 30.05.2019 of the denomination of Rs.1,33,000/-, both drawn in favour of complainant have been handed over to the counsel for complainant today. The remaining amount of Rs.15,000/- will be paid to the complainant on or before 30.05.2019. The complainant has agreed to the same. Appropriate order may be passed.
