ORDER

The Forum heard both the parties, perused the records and come to the following conclusion. The opposite party accepted the commitment of their mistakes and gave Rs.3,062/- to the complainant which was wrongly debited to the account of complainant. But opposite party took more than 4 years to settle the claims of complainant ran from pillar to the post and sent many representations to different authorities, including RBI. He alleged that he was not treated properly by opposite party, which caused mental and physical injury. The complainant had to suffer both mentally and physicially because of negligence of the opposite party. This is a clear case of deficiency in service. Hence the Forum award the following relief to the complainant. The opposite party is directed to give 15% interest on Rs.3,062/- from September 1991 till 3.7.96 along with the court cost of Rs.500/-.
